Fetus and Funnel Cake

I found this fetus diagram and thought it was pretty cool. More realistic looking than my little tracker up there on the right and you can see the organ system. And it's labeled for the anatomy challenged like myself.

Banana baby is still alien-ish but slowing growing into something that looks more human. I am looking forward to finding out the sex in the coming months so I can come up with a better name for the little one. Banana baby is cute but since I am over the banana phase it's no longer entirely accurate.

I am feeling fat and frumpy these days. My boobs haven't grown as much as I would like and my waist is disappearing. I basically look like I have gained a few pounds in my mid-area but it's not obvious I'm pregnant. I just look and feel bloated. The burping continues. Its constant. Burps always come in twos or threes.

This week's work out routine was a complete wash. Work was busy so my lunchtime workout went out the window. Boo. We are preparing for a follow-up environmental audit by the State. They want to make sure our research labs are managing their hazardous waste appropriately. Yikes. Violations could mean big fines for the university. With all the recent budget cuts it's in our best interest to make sure the university isn't fined.

I have done lots of walking though so hopefully that counts for something. Tonight Casey and I are going to check out our town's Fall Festival. I am going to introduce the fetus to funnel cake. Yum. Hopefully Fetus enjoys funnel cake as much as it's mommy and daddy do.
