First Snow of 2010

We're home on a "snow day" today. Temps are lingering in the teens. Not too much snow on the ground, but more in the forecast. If this keeps up, we'll be enjoying a White Christmas, which is always fun.



Gavin refuses to wear his mittens and generally hates all winter outwear, so we don't get to spend as much time outside playing as I would like...or that he would like either. He'll learn. In the meantime we enjoyed hot chocolate with our breakfast and we found a new "plane" video to watch on You Tube, a 30-minute Thunderbird performance. He is obsessed. Hopefully sometime next year we can get him to either a Blue Angels are Thunderbirds airshow.
