Crawfish
This is more of a journal entry post. Pretty boring, but important for my own documenting purposes nonetheless. This past weekend we took G to his first crawfish boil that a friend of Casey's was hosting. No, Gavin didn't dare try one, but Casey and I sucked on our fair share of heads. It was a good time with several other young children all close to Gavin's age. We had another great family fun weekend. Unfortunately we don't have very many pictures. We were too busy participating and such. In addition to the crawfish boil, Casey competed in his first duathlon (run-bike-run). I'm so proud of him. We'll become a lil' endurance race family yet! The beautiful weather had us outside in the yard while we were at home and we finally managed to get caught up on our chores. Hip, hip, hooray.

Fun, fun! Love some crawfish...haven't been to my 1st boil of the season yet though. Hmmm....have to work on that! And we had a full weekend of long overdue chores too. Not much fun. but it is necessary.
oh girl kuddos to you & Casey for sucking those heads out. I simply cannot bring myself to do that. But I sure do love me some crawfish!
