He called the hospital gown his "hospital pajamas." I was so very proud of our lil' Mann. He left his bandage alone while the numbing gel worked its magic. He played very well and was patient while waiting. Lately Gavin has been asking that we go visit the doctor for everything - bug bites, etc. He was happy when the ER doctor arrived to spend special time with him. She was very nice and has the same last name as our vet. Gavin remembered this and when she introduced herself he said, "Holly and Rocky's doctor?" She got a kick out of that. During the procedure he sat perfectly still and did not cry and did not have to be held down. Now why can't I have that kind of luck when trying to administer eye drops?? Speaking of, if any of you mothers have tips for giving eye drops to a two year old, I am all ears.

Oh no! Poor little munchkin!
Ouch! I must say Tiffany, he does not seem phased by it one bit. Way to go Gavin!
ANd I have no advice how to administer eye drops to a 2 year old. I have a hard time giving them to my 33 year old husband lol
Are those glue stitches?
Poor guy. Poor Mommy. It's a boy thing.
no, not glue
Yikes! Poor little Mann.
Bless his sweet heart....and yep, mom. It begins....ugh! I cringe thinking about that. Especially after going through this recent broken ankle myself. I would NEVER want my baby is this much pain. So sad. Glad he is okay though. Such a BIG boy. And the eye drops....never easy. IF Casey is around, have him help. One can hold head, drop in the meds, while the other takes a toy and distracts him, while having him look up and back. Yeah, I know. Not easy. If you are by yourself....his head between your knees to hold head in place....good luck!
Poor baby! But he is SO incredibly precious!
