This weekend we finally made it to a birthday party for one of our school friends. Usually by the time I get these invitations we've already made plans with our extended family or have some kind of outdoor adventure planned. I was thrilled when I realized we were going to be able to make this birthday party. It was great to see Gavin and his school friends play and interact outside of the classroom and playground.
The Austin Zoo is a rescue zoo, between Austin and Dripping Springs. Its a great learning environment and it even has a train, which is a big plus for a bunch of 4-year olds. Our friend Lincoln had a Dinosaur Party.

Ok, they are too precious. I have never been, but I have a photo shoot in March that I am coming in for so maybe we can go check that out during the early day.
