Hi, we're The Morrisons. I've been using this blog to keep in touch with my family and friends ever since leaving our native Texas in 2007 for the mountains of Southern Appalachia. In 2012 we moved back to Texas, because that's what Texans tend to do. Thanks for visiting our blog. We like to hear from you, so leave a kind comment or two!

31 weeks!
Well, the bump and I made it. At 31 weeks and 3 days I am officially more pregnant than I have ever been. I'm feeling great - even had a burst of energy today. Over the weekend my mother and I celebrated our birthdays together. We haven't done that in a while. We braved the cold for dinner and Ballet Austin's 51st production of The Nutcracker. It was a treat and for the first time during this pregnancy, I found myself hoping for a little girl. Seeing the girls all dressed up in their special holiday dresses brought back fond memories of my own childhood. But if I am meant to be the mother of men then I hope to share the ballet with the little gentlemen of Morrison Manor.
