Field Trip: Texas Natural Science Center and Zilker Park

Being home with both boys has been a major adjustment and we are still in transition. After a couple of weeks, I am finally feeling comfortable venturing out on my own with both kids. 

I have six months with Gavin before he begins Kindergarten and am hoping to fill our days with continued Kindergarten readiness and fun field trips. 

Last week he wanted to learn about dinosaurs. So we read our dinosaur books, practiced writing a few if our favorite dinosaur words, and took a fuels trip to the Texas Memorial Museum at UT, where the Texas Natural Science Center is. We saw dinosaur bones and learned about TX wildlife. 

Afterward, we spent an hour playing at Zilker Park.
