Seven Months of Sawyer

Sawyer Dean quickly ingratiated himself and is now an indispensable member of our family. He's a happy kid and we like that.

He rolls and rolls on the floor and loves exploring the house in its entirety in his walker.

Just in the last couple of weeks, he has begun to pull his knees up to his sides. I thought for a while he may skip crawling and go straight to walking, but now I can see that crawling will be mastered. Though judging from the way he lunges forward and tries to walk when we are holding him, I think the crawling stage may be brief.

He loves to kick his legs. He loves the swimming pool. He eats like a champ. He is not sleeping through the night, but we're willing to overlook this deficiency.

Still only has two teeth. Today, he embarked on his first airplane ride. He and Casey are flying solo to Atlanta for our cousin Charlotte's first birthday. I can't wait to see pictures of those two together.

In the meantime, I'll be doing lots of pumping this weekend.
