We've been having trouble with Gavin's attitude and his ability to follow directions lately. I usually send him to his room, but he has so much stuff in there to keep him entertained that he likes it when I send him to his room, especially if it means he can postpone doing his homework.
This week I'm experimenting with a "time out corner".
