"Bye Bye Gavin"

Some mornings Gavin catches a ride to school with our neighbors across the street. On this particular day I found Sawyer at the front window. He had brought a pillow from the couch and found a snapshot of he and Gavin that I had on the table next to my computer. He was alternating between staring out the window saying, "bye bye Gavin" and "Gavin go to school." Then he laid down on his pillow and looked at the picture of himself with his brother for a long time.
