Sister

For the past few weeks, maybe a month or more, Gavin has been talking about his baby sister. No, we aren't expecting or planning for additional little people at this time. Still, Gavin has decided he wants a sister. A baby sister. He saves food and treats for his baby sister. Sometimes he says he is saving a toy for sharing with his baby sister. Casey and I always get a good giggle out of this. Gavin is quite serious when he explains that he wants a baby sister. This past weekend he told us he no longer wants a baby sister. He wants a big sister. "You mean a baby sister?" "No mama, a BIG sister. Not baby, big. A big sister." Not sure we'll be able to deliver on that one, unless of course there is an adoption in our future. Maybe our little guy is more insightful than we thought.
