I have been keeping a pregnancy journal for a few weeks now. I don't write in it everyday, but often enough. I think it will be neat to pass down to either my daughter or son when he or she is expecting their first child.
I haven't started a "Baby Book" yet. I know I need to, but it just hasn't made it to the top of my list yet. I still have wedding memorabilia to organize for Pete's sake, yikes! Either way when I finally do start my Baby Book I'll need to include the gender predictions. I figure in the meantime since I seem to have more opportunities to be in front of a computer, than sitting down in my home office, I will record what I have been told so far here in my blog -- as a reference for when I do start the book.
These are the predictions to date, please feel free to add your own. I am going to try and keep this entry updated as I get new ones.
Me (mom) - girl (I had a vision)
Casey (dad) - boy (self-preservation)
Aunt Courtney - girl (Bristol needs another girl cousin)
Grandpa Rodney - girl (this one surprised me, apparently he had an "inspiration")
Great Grandpa Bill - boy (as the patriarch of the Morrison clan he wants an heir)
Mark, the waiter - girl (he could just tell by looking at me)
Megan R. - boy (I'm not throwing up enough for a girl)
Lady from the Gristmill - boy (I'm carrying my bump very low)
Jennifer C.- girl (with a smiley face)
Jennifer H. Toothman - boy
Dave S. - boy (suggests I start a pool for date and time - good idea!)
Cousin Lesa - girl (hopes for twins though)
Norma - girl (but could change her mind once she evaluates the belly shots)
Amylou - "the cutest elf boy - ever" (I added the "ever" part)
Gabby - girl ("of course!" she says)
Anna R.- boy
Tracy - boy
Elizabeth - boy (with possibly lots of hair due to my intense heartburn)
Melissa - girl (she is also the second person to utter the word "twins"...yikes! it does run in the family)
Ginny - boy (she's bias, she just had a boy herself ;)
Grandma Cathy (Morrison)- boy (though she wouldn't mind a girl with curly hair)
Jonathan - boy (his final answer)
Uncle Tom - girl (he already promised Bristol a girl cousin, we can't let Bristol down. She's my Goddaughter and favorite niece.)
Aunt Shannon - boy
Ben - boy
Wendy - girl
James - boy
Merritt - boy and girl (she is predicting fraternal twins, though no evidence supports this)
Brad W. - girl
Cousin Ayla - girl
Cousin Christine - girl
Susan - boy
Mark S. - girl
Cynthia - boy
Tara - girl
Londie - girl (she flipped a coin)
Mimi L. - girl
Miguel - girl
Mike G.- girl
Alicia - boy
Tiff B. - boy
Abuelita "buela" Kathy (Grandma Kingston) - girl
Papa Don (Grandpa Kingston)- girl
Cousin Bobbi - girl
Cousin Tim - girl
Kimbeau - boy
Running tally: Girl 25, Boy 22
Note: It's kind of interesting to notice that most of Casey's friends and relatives overwhelmingly say boy and most of my friends and relatives are saying girl. The one's that are not saying girl either have young boy children themselves or have all girl children and had hoped for a boy. There are also my guy friends who also say boy, but I think it's because they are boys and girls kind of scare them. I on the other hand, the baby carrier and woman with intuition, has a strong feeling it is a girl and had a very vivid vision earlier today that it is a girl. I am putting my money on the whole woman's intuition thing and the fact that I guessed right with my niece several years ago. I also think my genes are more dominant, but I suppose that's debatable.

I say twins. just kidding. (or not)
I say girl - Casey needs to be out numbered.
