Last Day of School

I know I'm behind of my blogging, but I didn't want to miss posting a very important milestone. Gavin finished Kindergarten today. I'll be on my way to pick him up soon. I'm excited about our summer together, but also sad to see this chapter end. We are so proud of our first born. He has progressed beautifully despite his high energy learning style. He is reading and doing arithmetic. He thinks through complex concepts and asks good questions. He still sucks his thumb when he's tired, one of the last remaining characteristics of his babyhood, along with the baby teeth that remain. He's grown several inches this year. First grade here we come!
