August: Beach Weekend 2017

We managed to squeeze in a quick trip to Corpus Christi a few weeks before school starts with our friends the Risingers. We stayed on Padre Island, just south of Mustang Island State Park. This is also our first family trip that Nana Kathy and Lyndal joined us for. We arrived on Friday evening and left Sunday afternoon. We stayed at the Nemo Cay Resort. The boys had a blast. It was such a positive experience and we hope to plan ahead next summer for a longer 4-day trip. Gavin said it was the best day of his life.
