Here comes the bride....

After today I am one step closer to my wedding day and my subsequent marriage. I had my wedding dress fitting last month and today I had the second fitting. Everything is perfect, the dress fits well and is very comfortable. Now all that is left is to have it cleaned and pressed. The dress will be available for pick-up, any time after noon, on January 7. Cool, huh? I'll probably end up playing dress up a few times before the big day.

Casey thinks it's so strange that I play dress up. Sometimes he comes home and he sees one of my fancy black dresses out on the bed and my high heels with the rhinstone buckle laying on the floor and of course my hair is fixed and I have obviously been experimenting with different make-up looks. He'll ask me, "Why is your dress laying on the bed and why are you all made up, are we going somewhere tonight and I forgot about?" He has this look of amusement and at the same time fear (because maybe he forgot our anniversary or something special we are supposed to be celebrating) on his face. And I tell him, "No, silly! I was playing dress up." I do that. Get all dressed up, walk around my house with good music on and project myself into some imaginary, glamorous event or situation. Am I the only girl who does this?

Anywho...

Here is a link to the birdcage blusher I bought to help complete my vintage look: http://www.birdcageveils.com/birdcageveils_emma_russian_netting18.htm. I ordered it without the floral attachment, I am hoping I can find a fresh magnolia flower to wear in my hair or make something a little more funky.

I remember the day I went and picked up my wedding dress, the sales clerk couldn't get it off me as I wanted to wear it home, lol. I know you'll look gorgeous! I am excited for you!!
