I remember the first time I heard Nora Jones. It was 2001-ish, I was living in Lubbock and close to graduating college. Long nights and too many bottles of wine will always be synonymous with Ms. Nora Jones and her creative lyrics and pretty voice. I do love me a talented musical lady.
I am excited about her new album, The Fall. Check it out. The link above goes to the NPR site where you can preview the entire album. It.is.AWESOME. Totally made me get my groove on while working on my Christmas projects. I had to stand up and shake my thing a little.

And if I'd been a little more in tune with Denton's local music scene (just before moving to Lubbock), I'd have seen a talented, young, and cute Norah Jones at various coffee shops. I'm waiting for her to do an album of jazz standards or show tunes.
